Halloween happenings and special events throughout the season
Ammaraccom hosts dozens of special events from September through November, plus select off-season programming. All events require advance tickets unless noted as walk-in. Group discounts available for parties of 10 or more.
September 20 — Opening Night Gala: VIP ticket holders enjoy early access, open bar (21+), costume contest with $500 prize, and live acoustic set by local musicians. Doors 6:00 PM.
September 27 — Historians' Panel: Free lecture series on Salem witch trial scholarship. 2:00 PM at our Essex Street theatre. Registration required; limited seating.
Every Friday — Full Moon Fridays: Attractions open until midnight. Enhanced lighting, additional actors, and themed cocktails at our harbor bar partner locations.
October 12 — Family Fun Day: Reduced scare levels, pumpkin patch pop-up, face painting, and storytelling for children. All-ages attractions only; adult attractions closed until 6:00 PM.
October 18–19 — Paranormal Investigation Weekend: Join certified investigators for overnight access to The Witch's Lair after public hours. Equipment provided. Ages 18+. Limited to 20 participants per night.
October 24–26 — Salem Haunted Happening Festival: Our largest weekend featuring street performers, vendor market, fireworks Saturday at 9:00 PM, and collaboration with downtown Salem businesses.
October 31 — All Hallows Eve Grand Finale: Extended hours until 2:00 AM. Midnight harbor fireworks, séance demonstration, and exclusive All Hallows ticket bundle including all six attractions.
November 1 — Closing Day: Final public day of the Halloween season. Discounted combo tickets and souvenir clearance sale in our gift shop.
November 28 — Off-Season Ghost Tour: Special Thanksgiving weekend harbor cruise and cemetery walk. Book early — sells out annually.
